Les Archives numérisées de Paris
The Archives de Paris offer online access to around 5 million images, genealogical and iconographic documents from their holdings, mostly from the 19th century. Users can consult two types of sources online:
  • public records of the so-called État civil (i.e. birth, marriage and death certificates): these are complete for the period 1860-1902 and partially available from the 16th century to 1859 (digitisation is in progress).
  • the so-called plans parcellaires (cadastral maps) of Paris and of the towns it annexed from the 19th century.
