Digi20 is a platform allowing users to do a full-text search in thousands of digitized monographs from the second half of the 20th century (in August 2015 almost 5.300 items were available). These come from the publishing houses Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, Wilhelm Fink / Ferdinand Schöningh, and Otto Sagner.

The books concern mainly the humanities and the social sciences, and include also various modern editions of older primary sources. Most of the books are in German.

Basic full-text search of the entire collection or of the single subject collections is possible. In addition, it is possible to do an advanced search in the metadata. Various filter options are available (by publishing house, year of publication, automatically recogized persons, automatically recognized locations, subject area, subject heading, series, author/editor, and key). Books can be viewed online or can be downloaded in PDF.

The project is realized by the Münchener DigitalisierungsZentrum and Zeitschriften und Elektronische Medien. Cooperation partners are Verlage Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht and V & R unipress, Wilhelm Fink Verlag, Verlag Ferdinand Schöningh, and Verlag Otto Sagner. The project is sponsored by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
