ElectionLeaflets.org

ElectionLeaflets.org is a "real-time election leaflet project" that began in 2009. Its aim is to archive leaflets spread during local elections in the United Kingdom.

Documents are included from 2009 onwards. ElectionLeaflets.org makes use of Crowd Surfing technique, which means that the leaflets are collected and uploaded by the general public.

At present (July 2012) ElectionLeaflets.org contains over 6000 leaflets. The ambition is "to create a live visualization of the flood of party political leaflets as they are delivered across the country during an election campaign."

Images of the leaflets can be viewed online in JPEG format. As well as accepting submissions, users can search by postcode or electorate for existing leaflets, or search across topics or parties.

ElectionLeaflets.org is maintained by the computer programmer and freedom activist Julian Todd.
