Centre for Editing Lives and Letters
The Centre for Editing Lives and Letters (CELL) develops projects focused on making archives matter, concentrating on the years 1500 to 1800. Under ‘Projects’ a list is given of both the current and the completed projects. Most of these projects contain digitized primary sources.
Project that had already been completed in August 2015 were:
- The correspondence of Francis Bacon
- Digitizing correspondence
- The Hooke Folio online
- The complete correspondence of Elizabeth Stuart, queen of Bohemia
- The letters of William Herle
- William Dugdale (1605-1686)
- The workdiaries of Robert Boyle
Projects that were still ongoing in August 2015 were:
- The archaeology of reading in early modern Europe
- Building a library without walls
- The diplomatic correspondence of Thomas Bodley, 1585-1597
- Gabriel Harvey’s Livy online
