Artstor. An image library for the arts and sciences is a resource that provides over 1.6 million digital images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and sciences. It contains images from international museums, photographers, libraries, scholars, photo archives, and artists and artists’ estates.

Users can search the collection by keyword, do an advanced search, or browse by collection, classification, or geography. Each image is accompanied by a detailed record. Images are shown in high definition. Zoom options are available.

To gain access to Artstor it is necessary to be part of an institution that subscribes to it, or to register individually, which will provide access for a period of 120 days.
