The Association Archives Antonie Pannekoek (A.A.A.P.) aims to give access to historical material from mainly, but not exclusively, the Dutch-German communist left. This political current was influential during the first half of the 20th century, and has known a certain revival at the end of the 1960s and beginning of the 1970s. The Association’s activities are driven by a small number of volunteers. Users are asked to contribute by providing primary sources and by supporting new editions in other languages.
The website contains various types of primary sources, such as pamphlets, periodicals, letters, and inventories of works. They are written in Dutch, English, French, and German. They can be accessed through various categories: monographs, periodicals, groups, persons, and themes (and within each category by various subcategories). Basic search in the entire website is also possible. Sources are shown in PDF format and can be downloaded.
