THATCamp Florence - 23-26 March 2011
From 23-26 March 2011, the Department of History and Civilisation of the European University Institute in Florence, the official home of European History Primary Sources, will host THATCamp (The Humanities and Technology Camp), an important event in the field of Digital Humanities and Digital History. THATCamp Florence is organized by several European scholarly institutions. Italian and European Digital Humanists will meet and discuss digital scholarship and methods today. THATCamp is a so-called “un-conference” promoted by the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University in Virginia, our partner in organising this event for the first time in Italy. THATCamp Florence will be preceded by a so-called BootCamp, consisting of introductory courses in the Digital Humanities and Digital History. Registration for THATCamp Florence is necessary and is possible until the 15th of March 2011. For more information email to firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the official website of THATCamp Florence 2011.
